HILLY FIELDS

DOUBLE PULL UP BAR:

These bars are pretty old and have problems.

The bars much thicker than standard and I generally avoid this park for that reason. Both bars are low - I’m only 5’7 and my feet touch the floor when I dead hang from the higher bar.

DIP BARS:

The dip bars are also old and not good.

Over time, the one-piece bars have moved and they’re no longer level. The best way that I found to counter this was to use the very end of the dip bars and do an even number of sets and alternate which direction you’re facing.

I would avoid these during the winter months and the ground underneath the bars gets very muddy.

HURDLES:

If hurdles are part of your workout routine, these are fine.

I’ve only seen one person use these - he was drunk and running laps of the workout park. He also forgot to pick up his plaid shirt when he ran off.

ABS BENCH:

Like all of the equipment, it’s old, but it’s still functional.

The bar is also doubles as a push up bar, which I liked.
