Frequently Asked Questions
Who are calisthenics parks for?
Calisthenics Parks are designed for any space where people want access to simple, effective strength training outdoors. Our systems work well in high-use environments such as public and commercial sites, where equipment needs to be durable, low-maintenance and suitable for a wide range of users. We also offer options for private and garden installations, where space and layout can be tailored to suit a more compact setup.
Calisthenics parks can be used by people of all ages and abilities. Beginners can build confidence using scalable bodyweight movements, while more advanced athletes can train strength and skills on the same equipment. Because multiple exercises can be performed on one rig, parks are ideal for shared training spaces and encourage consistent, repeat use over time.
Are your calisthenics parks suitable for public and commercial use?
Yes — our parks are intended for outdoor, public-facing environments and are built with durability and long-term performance in mind.
The equipment we supply is designed to handle regular use in all weather conditions, making it suitable for locations where reliability and safety are a priority. Whether your project is for a community space, a commercial facility, or an organisation looking to improve outdoor training provision, we can help you select a setup that matches the demands of the site.
We focus on practical, real-world training functionality rather than gimmicks, ensuring each park offers meaningful exercise options and a good user experience. If you’re planning an installation for a public space, we can also advise on suitable layouts and considerations such as spacing, usage flow and how to create a setup that works for both beginners and experienced users.
Do you handle design, supply and installation?
We offer flexible support depending on what you need. This can range from supplying equipment only, to helping you choose the right configuration, through to full supply and installation. If you already have contractors in place for groundworks or surfacing, we can also work alongside them to ensure the equipment and layout are planned correctly from the start.
Every site is different, so we’ll help you choose a solution that fits your available space, intended users, and budget. Whether you’re installing a full outdoor calisthenics park or a smaller setup, we aim to make the process straightforward and provide clear guidance from initial enquiry through to delivery and completion.
Delivery and installation areas
We supply calisthenics equipment across the UK, with delivery options available for both commercial and private customers.
BarMania Pro products are shipped to you directly from the Netherlands, whereas Calisthenics Parks own products are couriered across the UK.
If you require installation, we can support projects in a wide range of locations. Although we cover most of the UK, we consider the proximity to our installation team and the size of the project. If your project or site has any restrictions - such as limited access or tight delivery windows - we can factor that in during planning.
Lead times
Lead times vary depending on the equipment manufacturer, the size of the setup and whether or not installation is required.
Once we understand what you’re looking for, we’ll confirm an estimated timeline for supply and, if required, installation, so you can plan your project with confidence.
If your project has a specific deadline, let us know early and we’ll advise on the most suitable options to meet your timeframe.
For rough guidance, calisthenics equipment is usually delivered within 4 weeks. When we’re installing the equipment for you, the lead time can range from a couple of days to 8 weeks, depending on the size of the installation and the location.
Site requirements
The short answer is that we can install in most ground-types.
Key considerations include available space, safe clearance around the equipment and the ground-type.
Our installation team can install most equipment in grass, soil, artificial grass, concrete, wood chips and paving slabs. For commercial installations, once we know more about your project, we will determine if a site visit will be necessary. For garden installations, we do not perform site visits, but we may ask for photo’s of the area ahead of time.
It’s important that there is clear site access and vehicles can park close to where the work is taking place.
Maintenance and warranties
Outdoor calisthenics parks are designed to be low maintenance, but like any equipment in a public or commercial setting, regular checks are recommended to keep everything in good condition. This typically includes basic visual inspections, ensuring fixings remain secure and monitoring for wear over time.
Warranty terms can vary depending on the product type and installation approach, so we’ll confirm the details as part of your quote. If you have a maintenance schedule or compliance process to follow , we can help you understand what’s required.
Private vs commercial installations
Private and commercial installations often look similar, but the key differences are usually the available space, expected usage levels and the requirements around durability, safety, and surfacing. Commercial and public spaces typically need equipment that can withstand heavier use, along with more consideration for access, groundworks and long-term maintenance planning.
Private and garden setups can be more flexible, especially where space is limited or where a compact configuration is preferred. We can help you choose the right solution based on your environment - whether it’s a public space intended for daily community use, or a private setup designed for personal training at home.
