Calisthenics Parks was founded in 2025 by someone who has been involved in calisthenics for well over a decade, both as a practitioner and as an equipment specialist. I first started training calisthenics in 2008 and ran a YouTube channel teaching it, when the UK calisthenics scene was in its early days.

When the pull up bars we trained on in a local park were removed, we built our own in a friends garden. That simple solution quickly attracted interest from others, and before long people were asking for bars to be installed in their own gardens and spaces.

After leaving a career in finance, I spent over 10 years running a business focused on calisthenics equipment, delivering mainly private garden installations alongside a range of commercial projects. I’ve continued to train at a high level and have judged at world championship calisthenics competitions, giving me a clear understanding of how well-designed equipment should perform.
